Foundation Apprenticeships

An Apprenticeship will provide you with the opportunity to be employed in an occupational area of your choice, with a local Employer. You will follow a recognized Apprenticeship framework, gaining up to a level three occupational qualification and also Essential Skills Wales qualifications. You will be employed by a local company earning at least the national minimum wage. Skills & Training offer Apprenticeships in the following occupational areas: Health and  Social Care, Early Years Care, Hairdressing, Barbering, Sport, Customer Service, Retail and Performing Manufacturing Operations.

Skills & Training can arrange interviews with local employers, or if you are employed already we can arrange the programme of learning for you. Apprenticeships often lead onto full time employment, further education or career advancement. The Apprenticeship programme is aimed at eligible individuals who want to commit to a full time programme of learning in their chosen occupational area.
